The city of Bonn


Bonn is the largest city of Germany before 1990 it was the capital of West Germany. There were many government offices here before 1990 but after Germany unites half of government institute shifted to Berlin. Rhine river in the city makes this city a significance military position in 2nd world war because it is very strategic and allies forces penetrate into Germany from this side after crossing the natural barrier. Bonn was in British rule after ending  of world war 2 that’s why city was selected as capital of west Germany. City is famous as birth place of Beethoven in bonngass area near a old hall. Many visit able sites are here like,

Bonn Minster is the oldest church of Germany built in 11th century

Double Church is also built in 11th century famous name is simultaneum.

Old Cemetery Bonn is also located in this city and very well known in the world.

Kreuzbergkirche is built in 16th century

Bonn city has also many modern buildings like beethovenhalle, bundesviertel, post tower which is tallest building in north state.

Many museums are here like arboretum park harle, Botanical Garden, rheinaue, kottenforts.
