Berlin

Berlin is capital of Germany and population is 3.45 million. My last station was Naples (Italy) from there Berlin was 1800km far. I arrived at tegal airport Berlin has also another airport named schonefeld airport. Three main rulers was kingdom of Prussia, in 13^th century and Weimar republic in 1919 to 1934 and finely third Reich in 1933 to 1945.  After the World War 2 Berlin was divided into 2 parts East Berlin and West Berlin.  But in 1990 city again sum up and now a days Berlin has 150 foreign embassies. The landmarks of Berlin are the TV tower in mitte is tallest building of Europe it is 370 meter tall. Another is east side gallery which is master piece of painted wall of Berlin. The Brandenburg gate is also a remarkable place and also appear on euro coins. Humboldt University is also there and hackescher markt and its surrounding is full cloth outlets, clubs, bars and much more fun for every foreigner. If you want buy some expensive things from luxurious places you should visit kurfurstendamm. Just beside that there is Kaiser Wilhelm church was destroyed badly in 2^nd world war and remains ruins. The residence of president of the Germany is schloss Bellevue.

Naples

Distance from Milan to Naples is more then 750km and Naples is in south of Italy. Heavy weight history of music, art, culture and architecture make the Naples high boom city of world. City founded in 8^th century BC in Greek age. From 12^th century to 18^th century Naples was known as Kingdome of Naples. More then 1 million population 3^rd populated city in Italy. And according to the purchasing power of peoples also known as a4th richest city of ital and 91 richest of the world. During World War 2 Naples was most bombed city of south Italy.

 The main city pizza is the fanouse pizza Del plebiscite very near the royal palace. And Naples has also rich museums. The Naples national archaeological museum is biggest and has wide range of different things. Coral jewellery museum just beside the royal palace is also famous. In construction there are several buildings are notable like. Santa chiara, san domenico maggiore, girolamini, santa restitua, and madre Del buon consigio. Major parks are villa comunale, and parco virgiliano.

Milan

Less then 600 km another great heritage starts name is Milan. largest city by population after Rome having 1.34 million. After founding city was captured by Roman Empire in 222 BC. Romans make the city capital of western empire. Now a days Milan is business hub for EU. In the world of fashion and designing Milan has a trend making role and city has most famous theatres and museums. If we go back in 17^th century napoleon invade the city and Italy in 1796 and he declare the Milan as a capital of kingdom of Italy. In 1815 napoleon’s occupation came to end. In 1919 Benito Mussolini formed the fascist movement in Italy. In 2^nd world war Milan faces the heavy losses by bombing of Americans and British air attacks. After war Milan was seeing as refugee camp. And thousands of foreigners comes to Milan from southern Italy. Milan has several world heritage sites like

Santa Maria delle grazie which is the church and Dominican convent and its special thing which makes the church most visit able site in Milan is the mural of the last supper by Leonardo da Vinci.

Milan fashion week is also held in March and February and October of each year. Starts in 1958 and now become a 4^th biggest fashion week in world.

Milan Furniture week is largest in world and held each year in fieramilano complex in Milan metropolitan area.

Milan has also major football name in football history AC.Milan and FC internazionale milano.

The City of Rome

Main airport of the Rome city is Ciampino. And it’s the most populated city with 2.8 million peoples in just 1290 sqkm city located in central portion of peninsula. Very near of Tiber River. The religious importance make the Rome’s bishop the pope in Emperor Constantine ruling. And that pope makes the Rome city the main place of Catholic Church. In 756 pope given by pepin the temporal jurisdiction over city’s areas. But according to books in 846 Muslim Arabs invaded the Rome and sealed the st.peter’s basilica. Well in 1799 popes rule shacked by roman republic built under French revolution. Napoleon takes the Rome into French empire but after fall of napoleon church reinstated. In 1849.

There are 2 very famous statues are the pasquino and marforio.

The most distinguished roman thing of late 1^st century is Frontinus. Most famous and gorgeous fountain is piazza fountain.

There are also many parks and gardens to visit and enjoy the history.

Granada

To Granada there is one and half hour by plane is distance from Barcelona. Granada is city and also a province. And at the confluence of three famous rivers beiro, darro and genil. In 711 the moors occupied the lebrian peninsula and establish the kingdom of Al- Andalus (Moorish Spain). Moorish establish the Granada very much according to roman legacy. Marks of Moorish settlement can see today in Spain. There are many historical and heritage land marks in Granada (Al- Andalus). Spanish and Muslim art is very famous in world. Specially Alhambra and genera life.

            Genera Life

            Genera life is very pleasant place attached many romantic gardens.

Alhambra

Alhambra is constructed in 14^th century by Muslims rulers of emirate of Granada in kingdom of Alundlus at the top of the hill. Palace of Alhambra built for the last Muslim emir and his court of nasrid dynasty.

Barcelona

Growing population and arriving job seekers make the Barcelona 2^nd largest city after Madrid in Spain. Population is about 1621542. Located very northeast of Liberian peninsula in front of Mediterranean Sea. Barcelona has also many sites visit able. Like Barry Dotic which is the centre of Barcelona and many building from roman settlement time are still seen here. Catalan modemisme architecture also developed in 1885 to 1950.  these buildings are listed as world heritage sites. Barcelona is also named as the city of Antoni Gaudi who was famous Spanish Catalan architect in 18^th century. Below are several world heritage sites located in Barcelona.

Madrid

Madrid in Spain is 15000 km far from Malaysia it will take 17 hour flight to reach in Madrid. Barajas airport is main airport of Madrid and also capital of Spain. Madrid has many landmarks like royal palace of Madrid, paseo Del prado prado museum and other 2, national library is also a nice place to visit. Royal palace is official residence of king of Spain but king do not reside here. Campo del Moro gardens has great history. Named after allegedly camped in this the Muslim troops of ali yusuf in 1110. He was trying to capture the city of Madrid. Sabatini gardens are just opposite to the royal palace of Madrid created in 1930. Museo del prado is national art museum in Madrid and have the greatest collection of European fine arts the coolest thing I have seen in museum was Las Meninas by Velazquez. Another landmark of Madrid is plaza de cibeles made by marble and fountains in this building are phenomenal. Cuatro Torres business area is tallest skyscrapers in Madrid and Spain its 2^nd name is Madrid arena. Buildings were opened in year 2008. These four skyscrapers 224 to 250 m high and have 45 to 57 floors. Our next topic will be Barcelona.
